Lining up the raw edges of large pieces and long pieces of fabric can sometimes be kind of tedious. There's a lot of pulling and pushing and trying to get the edges matched up, and then if you pull too hard on one, then the other one comes off, and it sometimes can be a disaster, so I'm gonna show you a quick little trick. So I want to put this one on top of this one, and I'm gonna try and align this up, but see, I'm pulling over here, and I'm just getting a wrinkle. This really isn't moving over here. It just kind of becomes a little bit of a pain.
So what I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna get them as close as possible. You can see here that I still need to do a little adjustment, but if you put your fingers and use your fingernails like claws, you can actually claw across the fabric like this and just kind of scratch the fabric, and you'll notice right here, it isn't in alignment, but if I do a little scratch, it becomes aligned. And then I need to scratch all the way across this one to get that edge aligned, and you just keep scratching little by little, using your fingernails as claws until you get all of the edges perfectly aligned.

Aren't you actually stretching the top fabric when you do that, rather than "moving" it?
